Just try to imagine that the NSA/CIA contain some right wing nuts (just try) and one of them had decided to provide Pakistan Intelligence with advance information on the OBL raid so as to damage the Obama administration. Would that be freedom of speech? A matter of choice? What, you think it’s different when information is published by journalists? So if the information went to Glenn Beck Blog and from there to Pakistani anti-aircraft gunners would that be ok? What’s that? Glenn Beck Blog is not actual journalism? Oh, you want the government to be in the business of deciding who is a official journalist. Not a great idea. What about a hostile foreign news organization like the Taliban Daily Jihad or Fox News?
Just what America needs, more October Surprises to keep Democrats out of the White House. Good idea.
